The ultimate gift for any Muslim is being a Muslim and being steadfast as one. All around the world, there are calamities, adversities and people are getting very distressed. As Muslims, we must not allow our faith to be affected with the events we deem not very pleasant. These will always happen but we can still stand tall and live in peace if we take a turn at events and see things as Muslims and slaves of Allah, who are in utter and complete submission to the Lord of the worlds.
“No calamity occurs, but by the permission of Allah, and whosover believes in Allah, He guides his heart. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything”
[Surat at-Taghabun 64:11]
Anyone Can Make A Change
That afternoon, seela had been sitting quietly, at the open field enjoying the sun and the music and watching the other women as they danced their lives out and doling out stacks of cash onto the famous city musician. Soon, Rooky, Walhat and Boru stole the show and everyone was raving about what luxurious lives they must be living to afford such extravagance. Having feasted quite nicely and enjoyed the open field sun with the heavy colours and glamour of other merry makers, Seela thought it was time for her to leave, just to escape the maddening traffic that will rage on, in the next couple of hours.
How to increase your blessings during the month of Ramadan
Bismillahi Rahman Rahim
The month of Ramadan is a sacred one for Muslims all over the world, hence, the holy Qur’an enjoins thus; “O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil). (Fasting is) for a fixed number of days; and if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later, and for those (who miss the fast for illness or travel) who are able to do it, is a ransom of feeding one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own freewill, it is better for him. And it is better for you that you fast, if you only knew. The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present let him fast the month and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire hardship for you; and (He desires) that you should complete the period, and that you should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure you may be thankful". 10 things to do before the end of Ramadan
Challenge your fear
Don't you think it's good to set your goals above your fears. Remember the stoty of Prophet Dawud (AS), when he opted to fight against (Jalut) Goliath, despite his age and stature. Although Saul was very impressed by his courage, he said: "I admire your courage, but you are no match for that mighty warrior. Let the strong men come forward." David, asked Saul not to judge him by his appearance, for he feared no man or wild beast.
Almighty Allah declared: "So they routed them by Allah's Leave and Dawud (David) killed Goliath (Jalut), and Allah gave him (David) the kingdom (after the death of Saul(Talut) and Samuel) and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willed. And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exist)".
